4/1/2008 MUST READ read Augusta's response to the scoping process extension.  They say they welcome the public input but think the extension of the scoping process was too long?    The original plan in the forest services Notice of Intent only provided 30 days for public comments and three meetings were scheduled back to back.  See a great video of the Patagonia meeting.  Thank god for the two citizens who spoke up, it was the start of the true public education.  Of course I'm still  dismayed that Patagonia, Vail, and Green Valley, the communities most affected by the mine, did not get their own open mike meeting for public comments.

06/15/2009 Letter from Hilton ranch road community to ADOT concerning cooperating agency status with the FS.  They were invited in July 2008, were supposed to respond by August 2008 and still had not responded.

07/9/2009 Hilton Road Community letter to ADOT outlining problems with the Traffic analysis study completed by Tetra Tec.  Tetra Tech recently completed a traffic study for Rosemont to show that mine traffic will not adversely affect highway 83 traffic flow.  This is a response to it sent to Greg Gentsch of the ADOT's Tucson district.  Click here to see the traffic reports I completed with believable assumptions..
